2024年6月30日，新加坡护理界的资深专家郭敬我老师莅临汕头大学医学院附属肿瘤医院国际医疗部。

在护理部主任余淑贤的陪同下，国际医疗部副护士长许春彦为郭老师进行了全面而细致的介绍。郭敬我老师对医院大学路院区的国际医疗部进行参观并给予了极高的评价。

郭老师首先对本院新院区的现代化设施和优雅的环境表示了肯定。她认为，医院在为患者提供舒适就医环境方面做出了巨大努力，这不仅体现了医院对患者福祉的重视，也彰显了医院在提升医疗服务质量上的不懈追求。

Affirmation and Guidance in Equal Measure——Senior Nursing Expert from Singapore, Ms. Guo Jingwo Visits

On June 30, 2024, the International Medical Department of the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Shantou University Medical College welcomed the senior nursing expert from Singapore, Ms. Guo Jingwo. Accompanied by the Director of Nursing, Yu Shuxian, and the enthusiastic introduction by Deputy Head Nurse of the International Medical Department, Xu Chunyan, Ms. Guo showed great interest in the tour of the International Medical Department at the University Road Campus and gave high praise.

Ms. Guo first affirmed the modern facilities and elegant environment of the new campus of our hospital. She believes that the hospital has made great efforts in providing a comfortable medical environment for patients, which not only reflects the hospital's emphasis on patient welfare but also highlights the hospital's relentless pursuit of improving medical service quality.

After the tour of the hospital environment, Director of Nursing Yu Shuxian and other members of the management team had an exchange and sharing session with Ms. Guo in the meeting room of the International Medical Department. Ms. Guo highly praised the professionalism and dedication of our nursing team, stating that nursing work is an indispensable part of the medical system, and the professional skills and deep care for patients demonstrated by our nursing team are a strong testament to the hospital's service quality.

During the exchange with the nursing team, Ms. Guo not only shared her many years of nursing experience but also made some constructive suggestions. She pointed out the importance of humanistic care in nursing work and advocated for the integration of more personalized and psychological support elements in nursing services to help patients better cope with the challenges brought by diseases.

Director Yu expressed sincere gratitude for Ms. Guo's affirmation and suggestions and stated that these valuable opinions would be integrated into future nursing work to continuously improve the quality and depth of nursing services. She said that the hospital would continue to strengthen the training and development of the nursing team to ensure that every patient receives the highest quality nursing service.
